Da Pietro, Como – Italy

OIn the unique setting of Piazza del Duomo, the Da Pietro Restaurant project reinterprets local tradition through a contemporary and material language. The selected finishes—whitewashed walls, natural stone flooring laid in a herringbone pattern and glossy lacquered wood—create rhythm and continuity, offering a refined and distinctive experience. The interior design is structured around key elements: a large bar counter at the entrance, a sequence of rooms with differentiated identities and, in the kitchen, a long travertine chef’s table conceived as a sculptural and convivial centerpiece. The space is further defined by sculptural glass lamps, introducing transparency, depth and a balanced luminous rhythm throughout the interiors. An essential and refined environment where materials, light and proportions interact in harmony with the historical identity of the place.
