Palazzo Utini, Italy – 2024

The renovation of Palazzo Utini aims to combine the enhancement of historical heritage with a contemporary design language. The intervention creates an environment consistent with its context, defined by spatial fluidity, comfort and refined elegance. Interior spaces have been adapted to new functions while respecting the original layout, balancing operational efficiency with architectural quality. Each room is uniquely designed to offer a distinct experience, with the goal of making guests feel at home. The complex includes a bistro and a restaurant, conceived to integrate seamlessly with the hotel’s different areas, ensuring continuity between common spaces and dining environments. Material selection acts as the project’s unifying thread. Particular attention is given to the terrazzo flooring, from the careful choice of stone aggregates to their sizing and installation, ensuring both visual coherence and craftsmanship. The overall approach is tailored, with each element calibrated to create an immersive experience that blends comfort, aesthetics and historical identity.
