La Rei Natura, Serralunga – Italy

The La Rei Natura project is the result of a collaboration between chef Michelangelo Mammoliti and interior designer Stefano Guidotti. The chef’s vision—to reinterpret and extend the concept of service—becomes a unique experiential journey, where the kitchen acts as the beating heart, extending into every area of the restaurant. The space is carefully “tailored”, with materials and colours inspired by the surrounding landscape and, above all, by the ingredients that define the cuisine. Terracotta flooring, laid like the grid of an ancient Roman road, raw lime-treated walls and glass-brick partitions that filter light between rooms all contribute to a narrative that reflects the chef’s journey through flavours. The interior design translates this vision into a coherent environment, where the tasting experience becomes a complete sensory journey.
